Latest reports are showing that there are 2,343,255 internet users in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which makes (64.81%) share of Bosnia and Herzegovina population and (0.1 %) share of World internet users.

Dividing internet usage into age groups gives a better picture of the Bosnian market – (95%) of 16-24 year-old’s, (90%) of 25-34 year-old’s, and (85%) of 35-44 year-old’s use internet daily. The older generations also use internet regularly with 45-54 year-old’s and over 55’s showing a (73%) and (65%) daily penetration rate, respectively.

(90%) of online buyers in Bosnia buy via desktop, a stark contrast to the amount of smartphone (6%) and tablet (4%) buyers.

For the methods of online content access, the majority of the internet users pay for subscription services (23%), versus downloading an individual file (16%), or accessing streaming content (8%).

This method, shortened as COD, has a (60-70%) share in this country  and is therefore the most popular payment method in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Online buying in Croatia

Currently there 1.7 million people in Croatia that are ready to buy online. The average user spends 185 euros online.

In 2016, there was a similar number of male and female online buyers, with younger buyers tending to shop online more than those over the age of 45.

We found out that one in five Croatian internet users buy online regularly. Taking into account that more than one third of Croatian internet users made their last online purchase during the past year, the frequency of online shopping is persistently growing.

Devices used for online buying include all kinds of smart devices from smart phones through tablets and laptops.  However, desktop computers remain the most popular for online buying.

Croatians use a variety of online payment methods. PayPal is particularly popular, accounting for 33% of purchases online. Another 28% of payments are made via cash on delivery, and a further 16% are made via credit card.
